Coffee Table I

Title: "Coffee Table I"
Dimensions: 36" x 36" x 18.75"
Design: The idea for the aluminum legs comes from Aaron having read one too many issues of Street Chopper magazine. Aaron merged these two forms, to create one of the most awesome and unique coffee tables ever seen.
Materials: Legs are made of Alcoa 6061-T6 billet polished aluminum and capped at the bottom with a piece of solid Macassar ebony. The field or top of the table is made of Amboina burl veneer, and inlayed with faux ivory. The ogee frame is made with an alder wood core and surfaced with Macassar ebony sawn veneer 2mm thick. All woodwork is finished with lacquer, sanded down to grit of 2000, and then meticulously polished to a high gloss.
Location: Washington D.C.
